Manufacturing Facility in Pennsylvania
Pallet makers located in rural PA are currently building a large scale, ground mounted solar array. The system will offset 90% of the annual usage for the facility on site. The total project is $2.9 million which will be offset by the award of a $1 million dollar grant from the USDA. With the ReAP grant and additional state and federal incentives, the applicant will see a return on investment within one year of installation!
Strata Building Solar, USDA Grant writing services - 2021
The 65.25 kW solar array is designed as four separate sub-systems that each tie into a SolarEdge14.4K three phase inverter. The array was installed at a 10° tilt angle with a PanelClaw ballasted racking solution that reduces the amount of roof penetrations.
Ensign Ranches Solar Project, USDA grant writing services - 2018
Ensign Ranches, one of the largest cattle producers in the US, was awarded a USDA grant for the 757.62kW solar array with the help of Clean Power Consultants grant writing services and knowledge of the Rural Energy for America Program funding opportunities. The array was completed in 2018 and offsets more than 80% of the ranch’s energy use.
Spark R&D, Rural Energy for america Program (REAP) grant writing services - 2018
Spark R&D is a Bozeman-based splitboard binding company that manufactures their products in-house. They applied for a REAP (Rural Energy for America Program) grant with Clean Power Consultants, USDA grant writing services, and after its award, installed a 49.8 kW solar array on their business.
Haug Professional Building, USDA grant writing services - 2017
This 50 kW solar system will save the business between $100,000-$200,000 over its 25 year lifespan!
Spire Climbing Gym, Rural Energy for america Program (REAP) grant writing services - 2017
In 2017, Spire was awarded a USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant for the installation of a 50kW solar array, using CPC’s REAP grant writing services. The array offsets nearly 80% of the building’s energy use.
Broadview Wind Project, RURAL ENERGY FOR AMERICA PROGRAM (REAP) GRANT WRITING SERVICES - 2017
With the successful award of grant and loan funding through USDA and REAP grant writing services from CPC, Two Dot Wind will built a single wind turbine capable of electrifying 487 homes. The company secured a $1.9 million loan in 2017 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Energy for America Program.
Two Dot Wind will contribute $1.2 million to the project. The company will sell its power to NorthWestern Energy.
OSM, RURAL ENERGY FOR AMERICA PROGRAM (REAP) USDA GRANT WRITING SERVICES - 2016
The roof of the OSM carpentry shop holds a 50 kW solar array funded by Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant money, awarded through the USDA and CPS’s grant writing services. The system will produce an estimated 65,920 kWh per year, which equates to $5,403 worth of electricity savings annually. After incentives, the estimated return on investment for OSM is 8 years.
The 25 year energy production of the system is equivalent to planting 30,105 trees, offsetting 1,235,883 lbs of burned coal, offsetting 2,775,746 miles driven by the average passenger car, and 368 tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled.
Gardiner Market, REAP GraNT WRITING SERVICES - 2015
Over the course of 2014 and 2015, Scott and Rebecca worked with us to procure grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), and NorthWestern Energy’s USB program to help fund this 49.6 kW solar electric system. Clean Power Consultants provided USDA grant writing services to successfully award these funds.
Blake Nursery, USDA REAP GRANT WRITING SERVICES - 2012
Blake Nursery was awarded a REAP grant in 2012, using CPC’s Rural Energy for America Program USDA grant writing services. This nursery location in rural Montana installed solar array on the southfacing roof aspect of their barn. The array offsets about 50% of the business’s annual energy use.
